NEW HOME BUILD
PRE POUR & CONCRETE
SLAB INSPECTION
This inspection is possibly the most important throughout the build. Once the slab has been poured ( the support for the superstructure of your home) its very expensive to rectify any faults or any items not complying to AS 2870-2011
It’s also one of the hardest to inspect (the pre-pour) as time management and communication is paramount between builder, client. So the Building inspector is able to attend when necessary, and check that damp proof membrane, reinforcement, formwork, services have all been installed correctly. Plus many other checks that are necessary once the slab has been poured.
